These were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness of mind, and searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so.
Acts 17:11

And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues.

Tower of Babel

Greed Spurs Inefficiency

There is no excuse for this, except greed. Industrial wind and solar plants don't belong in unspoiled ecosystems. We have taken away far too much of nature already. Solar belongs on already existing roofs and parking lots, or even roadways and canals. But they don't want to lose billions of customers. They want to inefficiently send the power down thousands of miles of cable. Put the power at the source of it's use. Every one of us could be off grid, like me, no electric bills. Greed is the only reason it hasn't already been done.

Data centers, crypto-currency, AI, Starlink, Neuralink are all infrastructure for the mark of the beast.

How We Got Into This Predicament

I am of the baby boomer generation, the last generation that remembers how it came to be this way, because we witnessed it as it happened. I grew up an Arkansas country boy in the 1960s and 70s. Maybe if you grew up a townie you won't remember it so well. But if you grew up rural, anywhere in this country, you might as well have still been living in the 19th century. There was no running water, so no indoor plumbing, and no electricity. Rural electric didn't really begin to come in until the 1960s.

People today don't realize or even remember how fast all of this happened. We have changed the world at break neck speed. A little over a hundred years ago, when the industrial age was born, people began to leave the farm and moved to cities to work in industry. Prior to that, people had lived off the land, pretty much the same way they had all the way back through history. Over time, the farms even became factories, which could only exist through chemistry and irrigation systems.

In the desert southwest of the U.S., they built gigantic reservoirs, which enticed over 40 million people to move to places that could never naturally support such populations. Now the lakes are near dead pool and dropping. It was always a disaster in the making. These western cities are existing on borrowed water and they are in the red. Yet they continue to build water thirsty projects.

Paraphrasing a friend, "You can live a lifetime without modern technology. You can only live three or four days without water." We've gone from 2.5 billion people in 1950 to 8.5 billion today. 8.5 billion people need a lot of water to drink. But we also need food. That food comes from factory farms. Factory farms use the vast majority of the water we need to survive. We are pumping water out of the aquifers exponentially faster than they are being recharged. This is unsustainable. It is only a matter of time, how much time we don't know. When the water runs out, so will the food.

The modern medical system might prolong your life, if you can afford it. If not, they have a protocol of triage and unspoken euthanasia. Yes, unspoken euthanasia is real. They have all kinds of population control methods, from chemicals in the air, water, and food, to man-made pandemics, to drugs, and wars. Yet the global birth rate is still twice the death rate.

People take it for granted because everybody today has been born under this new system. But it has produced insurmountable problems. It has even caused population explosion in humans and population collapse and even extinction in many other species. The only way to fix this is for people to get out of the city and get back to the land. It can be done. But not by 8.5 billion people. We have reached a point of no return. Most people aren't going to change anything because it's all they know. And the people who are telling you that you caused it are the very people pushing "more progress". More of what caused the problems will never be the solution.

I haven't even mentioned the mountains of non-recycled garbage we generate every day. I could go on and on, but I know how hopeless and depressing it sounds when you look at it head on. What God halted at the tower of Babel, we have reached in this generation. The bottom line is, you need to know Jesus. The time is at hand. The time is at hand. Jesus said that if He delayed His return, there would be no one left alive on Earth. But He said, for the elect's sake, He will cut it short.

John 16:33 These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.

Genesis 11:1-9 And the whole earth was of one language, and of one speech. 2And it came to pass, as they journeyed from the east, that they found a plain in the land of Shinar; and they dwelt there. 3And they said one to another, Go to, let us make brick, and burn them throughly. And they had brick for stone, and slime had they for morter. 4And they said, Go to, let us build us a city and a tower, whose top may reach unto heaven; and let us make us a name, lest we be scattered abroad upon the face of the whole earth. 5And the LORD came down to see the city and the tower, which the children of men builded. 6And the LORD said, Behold, the people is one, and they have all one language; and this they begin to do: and now nothing will be restrained from them, which they have imagined to do. 7Go to, let us go down, and there confound their language, that they may not understand one another's speech. 8So the LORD scattered them abroad from thence upon the face of all the earth: and they left off to build the city. 9Therefore is the name of it called Babel; because the LORD did there confound the language of all the earth: and from thence did the LORD scatter them abroad upon the face of all the earth.
